Jeannie Newton is a 2002 graduate from Belmont University, Nashville, TN with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She also holds a BS degree from New York University in Dance Therapy.

She has been certified in Pilates since 2000 by Polestar Pilates of Miami and has been teaching at various clinics and given numerous seminars on the integration of Pilates into physical therapy techniques. She is currently one of the few Physical Therapists’ that is Pilates-certified in the Nashville area.

Her work experience has included acute care settings, long-term care settings as well as outpatient settings. She also has background in different manual therapies and myofascial work. She believes in crucial one-to-one time with each patient visit and considers hands-on treatment a hallmark of her practice.
